your contracting at 34 wks? what do they feel like to you?

yea I have been contracting since 33wks its been a long labor because the doctor said since I have been dilating slowly but surely I am in active labor but since its going so slowly they have me home and on bed rest and appointments with my OB every week, my contractions feel like my whole stomach tightens almost as if the baby is bundled but also my uterus feels like it tightens and releases but then other times it will be contractions on top of my stomach near my ribs that feel like my chest is bruised but in reality its me contracting I didn't even realize it but when I was on the monitor the doctor made me realize it so yup 😏@annabellasmom

I ask because I am 34 wks and 6 days and all day today I have been experiencing sharp quick pains.. my Ob is closed and I have an apt at 930 in the morning. I'm not sure if I should wait until tommorow or go see a doctor ?

I would go into labor and delivery just to be safe because you never know what could happen its better to be safe then sorry because contractions can feel like multiple things and there is a lot that can go on with your baby just to be safe I'd go in @annabellasmom

that's what everyone is saying... except my bf he thinks I'll be okay and just get sent home

even if you get sent home its best to be safe because its not about if you get sent home or not but if your baby is okay or not and with your OB being closed you should really go in every moment counts when it comes to your baby@annabellasmom

Same. Bedrest kind of sucks sometimes.
