yesterday I had my 38 weeks prenatal appointment and got checked for the first time... found out I am 2 and a half centimeters dilated and 70% effaced! that really excites me, but then again I also know that dilation and effacement really mean nothing when it comes to when you'll have your baby so now it's just a waiting game... 1 week and 5 days til my due date. hoping he comes soon! just wanna hold him already :)

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Contraction questions
I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.
I’m getting induced Thursday morning if I don’t go into labor by then. Got checked today and I’m 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I hope the baby will be ok since I’m just 37 weeks.
6 centimeters dilated 90% effaced and just had my membranes swept let's play a game when do you ladies think my baby girl will make her arrival😄😁😞😋😌🙆🙇
Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.
