Getting a baby/child to take medicine, piece of cake, I've been doing it for years.... Getting my too smart for her own good 6 year old dog to take medicine, quite the challenge. We put it in a treat and she eats it the first time, then after a couple more time she finds a way to eat the treat and spits the pill out. Her and my son are going to be a handful 😒

lol I know this sound nasty but if you cut it in four and shove one by one into the back of her throat you will find her swallowing it ..... I was a assistant at a vet clinic

I was honestly thinking I'll have to do that, I gave her her first dose so I'll see how she is later. Thanks! I don't mind it at all, I've helped raise my siblings and I've been a nanny for almost 4 years... I've seen it all lol.

I had to force one of my dogs to take his heart worm meds by doing what @naty199613 said. I recently switched meds and the pill is so big. I started crushing it into powder and mixing it with a can of wet dog food and it works every time! He's so weird. My other puppy will just eat the whole tablet out of my hand and come back for seconds. Lol. I wish they were all like that!

The pill we're giving her is super small, so I'm hoping she doesn't get wind of it lol if she does I'll have to do the same. That's so funny! My dog is so freaking smart, it's ridiculous.
