Raine will only actually sleep on her side or if she's on her belly on mine or Jonathan's chest... I know it's not safe and I'm trying so hard to get her to sleep on her back in her bassinet... but it's so hard.. and I can't deal with the cry it out method. she's 2 weeks old, I can't just listen to her cry and not comfort her.. I feel so stuck..

i think as long as you watch her side sleeping is fine. :)
its not recommended but if Emmett wont stop fussing in the middle of the night after being fed i bring him in bed with me and he instantly falls asleep beside me. i never lay them flat on there backs (he sleeps inclined in the rock n play on his back) because im afraid if hes fully flat if he spits up he'll choke.

it's whatever your comfortable with. i dont recommended co bed sleeping if you are a hard sleeper. im a light sleeper especially if i know my baby is in my bed.
