Never heard of it

sometimes mixed growth can mean a urine infection, but more often than not, its a contamination and just needs repeating for a clear result.

If it is an infection then the lab grows the bacteria and tests it for sensitivities to make sure that antibiotics concentrate on the right infection.

Doesn't always mean anything I had a letter amber saying I need antibiotics for it but my midwife tested me and said mixed moderate growth doesn't mean enough has been found for it to be something always xx

I think it's just if it left untreated and gets into kidneys then it could be but I don't think it's anything to worry about to much uti can cause contractions for some reason xx

I'm currently taking antibiotics for mixed growth in urine, which was re-tested 3 times, just to see which antibiotics will concentrate on the infection that I have, currently on 500mg 3x a day for 5 days Cefalexin x

@myfirstbaby2016, don't worry bout it Hun. Had the same thing they just advised me to drink more water.
