Nothing wrong with that! I definitely wish I could've done more right afterwards. I blacked out if I did too much due to too much blood loss. So definitely take that energy boost! 😆

Her being so little made pushing her out harder but it prevented damage I literally didn't tear at all so that definitely helped my healing process @breloya

I definitely didn't know that the smaller a baby, the harder it was to push them out. Hmm, learn something new everyday. I'm glad that recovery for you physically is going well. Just keep recovering mentally and emotionally as well. I'm sure it's very tough having a nicu baby. But those are some of the strongest little babies ever.

See when you have contractions those muscles help to push the baby out that's why they tell you to push on a contraction. She's so small the muscles have a harder time grabbing around her. Definitely my little fighter. I'm actually doing a lot better with her being in the NICU than I thought I would. I just want her to get chunky so I can take her home lol @breloya

That actually does make a lot of sense. I don't know why I was thinking it was easier for a smaller baby to come out. I was thinking along the lines of, bigger babies get stuck... And that just means you are strong as well. It takes a lot of strength from both mommy and baby. I can't wait to see you guys journey from now, her gaining and going home, on forward. 💜
