@skyy12221, I hear induction pain is much worse that natural labor... Also that there can be trouble with baby latching and things due to the drugs mom is given
@zachattackmomma, Well since my first was my first and I didn't get to go into labor naturally I was worried about it being more painful since I have heard that its worse than natural. Personally I didn't feel anything til after they broke my water. I labored for 18 hours and did 13 without pain meds. My contractions were off the charts and nurses would run in my room asking "if I felt that?" I'd look at them crazy and tell them no and they were like most woman would be begging for an epi. The only reason I got an epi was cause every time I got a contraction I would stop breathing to cope it didn't make my sons heartbeat drop or anything dangerous I did it just to be on the safe side. My son had no problem latching at all never has and I breastfed him til 19m and 2w he's 20m now I stopped since I'm pregnant again and couldn't handle the feeling but I'm gonna try again after I give birth. I want to tandem nurse. I got induced due to cholestasis but I might not need to be induced this time if there's no issues so if not I'll get to experience natural labor and I'm not getting an epi this time induced or not I had too many issues with it after birth but I'll then decide which is better.

@zachattackmomma, no problem! And nursing is amazing I miss it but I'll start again soon in a few months and thank you so much I wish you the best in yours too even though its almost over and your nursing journey haha

I wasn't recently induced but I did have my first at 38w and 2d, it wasn't bad at all. What do you want to know?
