My belly always hurts after our ultrasounds. And now we get one every week. I love seein the babies…

Doesn't get any better unfortunately...

I have heard several say this. Why is it causing your stomach hurt? I have only had one abdominal ultrasound. @pbandjones

@lindseybriscoe, its just tender i guess im not really sure exactly. @twinmama_navywife. i could definitely deal if i was only having them every 4 weeks like i was. Now i see a specialist every week and have one on top of my regular OB every 2 weeks and they do one. Its soooo much ugh 😖

Once I got past 20 some weeks and beyond they just hurt.. All the pressure and everything was always very uncomfortable and painful to a point.

@twinmama_navywife, definitely! My regular OBs sonotech is not gentle at all either! she even shakes my belly trying to get them to move! the tech in the specialist office at least acknowledges the fact that its so uncomfortable and tender. Not sure if thats normal for all pregnancies or mainly twin mommies since we have more stuff going on

I would say the huge difference is the weight we carry. The shaking of the belly I can understand, especially if they need a certain photo they did that to me. The babies have so much room it's easy to do that, that early. Right now you couldn't get them to move around if they wanted to! The uncomfortable part.. Usually they ask me if I'm okay but I always made it a point to ask if I could turn on my side, it made me a little more comfortable. If they let you do that.. 👌🏻 cool. If not it's because they need a certain photo of a twin. Just the name of the game.. Once though at the hospital a tech had me on my back for two hours without being able to move... THAT is painful..

@twinmama_navywife, ugh how awful! At my specialist they give me a squishy block to put under my back. it weirdly helps and stretches my lower back out which feels so good i almost don't even pay attention to the discomfort lol she was shaking because one of them was moving too much and she needed him to turn around lol they are always moving its insane

I wish I had, had that option.. 😞 I always ended up lightheaded and nauseous half way through..
