I can't 100% agree with this. I'd like to say they are equally just as bad. Coming from myself, who is a recovering addict... Believe me when I say, it hurts us just as much knowing that we are destroying the people we love but it's something we can't control.
I go through this with my mom and @staceymaries I'm not dissagreeing with you but ppl have to want to get help. If they don't wanna get help it hurts the ppl who love them.
Some people are too scared to get help. I agree with you @ilovemykids24, people need to want it. I wanted to get help for a long time, but it took numerous attempts and relapses for it to finally stick. It's a crappy situation regardless. Just know that whoever is hurting you with their addiction, is not intending on it, and they are hurting too. π best wishes.
