Do it! :) It'll save a ton of money. The Drs won't pressure you into a c section (unless it's absolutely necessary). You tend to build a relationship with the doula/midwife. You get to have personal intimate time with your partner. And even though the pain is a MASSIVE bitch, the reality that you were able to go through it seems like it would be so incredible. They even have birthing centers if that'd make you feel more comfortable.

I really want a water birth but that may not happen now.

awe why not? and I'm looking into it I'd love to go through with my hubby we have been talking about it .... I'd probably be more relaxed also in my own home ... with my daughter it was nerve wrecking at the hospital @mrsmamagryffindor

@mommyofbella26, I totally get the nerve wrecking part with all those Drs around you. in general, though, it just sounds much more peaceful.

But I'm having twins and am temporarily on bedrest with SCH. So, most likely I'll be in a hospital having a c section. Ugh.

Awe well that sucks I know my placenta is low right now they said if it doesn't move up by 20 weeks then I'll probably have a c-section so who knows if I'll be able to do the water birth but I'd love to do it.... I hope you feel better ☺ @mrsmamagryffindor

Make sure your hospital does them and talk to your doctors about it soon! I wish I could do one but out hospital doesn't offer them. 😩
