I had a c-section last Thursday...and every time the nurses checked me the checked my belly to make sure my they could feel my placenta? I'm so confused...my belly looks so funny...will I lose the placenta?

they should've removed the placenta with the baby it definitely shouldn't still be in there

They should have taken the placenta out during the c section. They should be feeling your uterus to make sure the cuts are healing and you aren't hemorrhaging

after your baby was born your placenta came out not too long after her.. your uterus is still in there (obviously so you can have more precious little angels) so yeah no your uterus is what she was pressing on so you don't get clots in there.@nicolekayo07,

It's not the placenta. It's your uterus. They make sure it's getting smaller and going back to its place. Placenta is taken out during surgery, you can die if that stays in you.

@nicolekayo07, yes it gets smaller if you breastfeed that helps your uterus shrink back down to normal plus its good for momma and baby bonding does baby good and you burn 500 calories every feeding :^D
