Same,when I got my test done I was starving and nervous all at once. It wasn't a good mixπ You can always call and ask to be on the safe side. I guess what helped me on not having water was getting thirsty and being able to take down the drink faster βΊοΈ @blessed17
Every dr is different. When I did mine, they told me to eat a protein rich breakfast. Just not a lot of carbs or sugar. I drank water in the parking lot right before my appt. passed with flying colors!
I'm a lab tech and drinking a lot of water can actually affect your results. pushing a ton of fluids forces the kidneys to flush stuff out quicker which can throw off the results, but it has to be an awful lot to do that. I drank water for my test, just not like a whole gallon or anything. just sips here and there
