Good morning mommies when doing the glucose test, I know I can't eat but can I drink water???

I wasn't told not to eat, but to answer your question, yes, you can have water.

It's so weird seeing all of this my doctor told me nothing about it hahaha I just did whatever I think I had cereal. My glucose was fine though

Some are different I suppose. I've never had to fast.

When I was pregnant and had to go for sugar testing, they told me not to eat or drink anything past midnight not even water cause it gives a false reading. but I do remember I sipped on some water but not much and my office almost had a fit.

@stashinavy, every doctor is different. My first three kids I had to fast for the glucose test. My fourth I was allowed to drink water and eat something small. This one I was supposed to eat normally. I guess it depends on the doctor.
