My poor baby! Every other feeding has been a hassle, he cries after 3 mins of being on the boob so I burp him and he lets out multiple big burps then back on the boob again then cries. I don't know what else to do, I can barely feed him we have to stop so many times just to burp him in between

It sounds like he is not getting a good latch and is getting too much air

How would I know if he's latched good or not? He's been doing fine up until the past week @mybabyloves

@mybabyloves, he will usually fuss if he's not latched good or pull off himself and try to latch again. It doesn't hurt when he latches!

That's what I've been thinking but I can't think of anything out of that ordinary. I eat basically the same thing everyday. @mybabyloves if you think it's my latch, I want to meet with a LC.

My kids never needed to be burped during breast feeding, that's why I think he is getting air. I would definitely meet with one, they are very helpful

@mybabyloves, he use to not have to burp either until recently. So maybe that's it, thank you for your help!

You should stop eating anything that has milk in it including cheeses. Maybe your son has cmpa (cows milk protein allergy) or maybe he might have reflux. My son was SOOOO gassy and it was because he has both cmpa and reflux
