That's great! @lilianaandsavannasmommy28 It's usually one of those things people can't discuss without getting rude and being disrespectful. We're opting out of the rotavirus vaccine and we're doing vaccines on a delayed schedule. I don't want to overwhelm my baby with 5 shots at a time. It's crazy.

I agree. Vaxxing is a sensitive subject, but I believe that every mom knows or should know what she wants with her children and others simply need to respect it whether they agree or not. And yeah, one or two at time is plenty. There's no reason to torture a baby with more than that.

I wish more people could discuss things in a respectful manner, just because someone's views differ from mine doesn't mean we can't be friends. Yeah it's excessive. I have a friend who warnt vaccinated and opted out of doing them with her daughter and they're both as healthy as can be. She's also a vegan as well. I think the more people try to protect their kids from things, the more susceptible they are to them. I guess it depends. I worked for a mom who had her kids constantly wash their hands which actually makes you more prone to germs. @lilianaandsavannasmommy28

i think no matter what doctor you go to they will always give you there opinion but they can not tell you no.. I also give me daughter one shot at a time. i go back and forth with two different shots at each doctors appointment.. and my daughters doctor always trys to explain why she should get them all but I deny Everytime. and it's the end of it. i think they have to tell you the risk of not getting them.. or they will get in trouble

@mrs.cravens I understand that but giving their opinion vs. pressuring is a whole different story. There are plenty of doctors who agree that delaying vaccinations/spreading them out is best.

yes my daughter's doctor did try to pressure me. but I told her from the very beginning and being very blunt with her I am her mother and I know what's best for my child so do not pressure me to do something I do not want to do. and she knew I was serious and now she knows when we come in for a doctors appointment we do one shot. but I am 100 percent with you on spreading out shots.

That's good! I'm very stern when it comes to certain things and I don't like being overstepped. I'm going to meet with a few doctors when I'm further along so I can best decide. I live in an area where there are plenty so at least I have a lot of options. @mrs.cravens

Unfortunately, I've been bullied and accused of hating my kids for not vaxxing. My oldest eats a healthy diet, but I let her splurge, I'm not horrible lol, and clean water. It is possible to build up immunity :) my youngest is only 5 weeks and we'll be doing the same. For those who choose to vax, they have their reasons and I have mine. People are cruel, but my 9 year old rarely gets the common cold.

I'm sorry to hear that! People can be so cruel, if their kids are vaxed why are they so concerned with you children affecting theirs? You know. I used to have severe seasonal allergies and allergies to pet dander as a child and not those are both gone. I never get colds and I've also never gotten for flu shot which they recommend (I'm not letting my child get that either) and I've never had the flu. It varies person to person but I admire you for doing what you feel is best for your children, it's so easy to just do what everyone else is doing.

Thank you, @sarinunez . I've never once downed a mom for doing what she believes best for her kids. And yes, it does vary. Everyone is different and we all develop different. And that's their logic. That my un vaxxed kids can spread diseases that they don't have. The majority of those who bully have a false sense of security, it seems.
