I had so many colds and flu's especially in my first trimester!! I drank a lot of liquids too as well as took Tylenol for pain and throat spray for sore throats and saline nose spray helps for stuffed and runny noses!!
Most definitely for over a week. I spent alot of time in bed resting, cold compress alongside Tylenol. tryed to keep hydrated as well. Also called telehealth for support. I suggest calling the toll free number when in doubt.
I know I had a fever for sure when I had the flu around my birthday when I was only about 7 weeks! I don't think it will harm the baby, your body is trying its best to get rid of the infection or bug that you have and when you are pregnant your immune system is lowered so that's why you get sick more often!
I'm sick right now and feeling awful. you can take sinus medication I forget which one call your dr and ask I'm going to see mine later so I'm going to be double checking myself. Plain tylonal for fever and cold compress on back of neck and forehead. Nasal spray for sinus. Lots of fluids and rest. And also I steam up the washroom and sit of the floor for awhile with a cup of ice water to help as I'm having trouble breathing

@brynsmommie, did you get a fever as well? I'm worried it might affect the baby
