if you take away something like that from your man the relationship will get MUCH worse. My boyfriend has a passion for music and i asked him to put it up for now. he did and it got ugly. it's an escape for them. they need it just as much as we do. make date night another night.

that's the only night we can get a sitter. but what about our need for escape? he's has 3 days a week to escape with football practice and games while I have nothing

why don't you go to the games to support him while you're not on bedrest and go out to eat or something after?

Relationships are based off compromise, if you take something away from him that he really enjoys doing, it seems a little selfish, eventually he will realize on his own what he needs to do, don't stress yourself out about it to much love, things will work out.

i haven't been to a game yet because they're outside and it's been cold and rainy. i love football. i just feel I'm being pushed to the back burner for his recreational activities

@nikosmom, don't forget that even though you guys are together he loves you, but he also has a life and passions, try to support them they will make your relationship 10x stronger. It's two people with two different passions and lifestyles trying to make things work as a whole, it can get ugly sometimes. Guys don't tend to take the pregnancy and baby thing the way mommies do because They aren't the ones carrying the baby, we are. It'll hit him sooner or later, and he will want to be around more I bet you.
