Can you opt out of being checked for dilation??? I didn't go to my last 4 appointments my last…

you can tell them you don't want your cervix checked. they can't force you

I opted out of mine, however when I went to the hospital for a NST and I was having contractions even though I couldn't feel them, the doctor said they were too close and want to check if was dilating.

I've been checked already twice this pregnancy by l&d because I been having contractions off and on since 21 weeks

@mommyagain, nope thankfully.. my 3 others were born early well not super early lol. 2 of them at 37 and one at 36 and I'm usually in and out of the hospital with preterm labor by now.. With my last I was dilated to 2 at 28 weeks... so the Dr and I are both shocked and grateful that Jordan seems to be content in the belly for the time being :-) hopefully he stays until at least 37 weeks!
