for the past 3 nights I've been laying Liam down on his back since I get so much hate for letting sleep on his tummy. he wakes up when he sleeps on his back and not to eat, he wakes up to cry until I put him back to sleep and this goes on for hours. last night I put him on his tummy and he slept all night again. sorry but he is comfortable and has good control of his head so he will sleep how he wants.

Let him sleep on his tummy then. As long as he isn't face down- his head is turned to the side- it's not that bad. Sometimes my baby rolls onto her tummy and I just keep an eye on her and make sure she's not face down. Babies feel more secure without their tummy exposed so they'll naturally like sleeping on their tummy better

I did the same thing with my son and people gave me shit for it too BUT I knew what I was doing. I wouldn't cover him with blankets and nothing else was next to him. I had a tiny flat pillow to prop him up a bit and it was the best sleep he would get

Put him on his back and just stop telling these mommies about it. I do plenty of things that I just don't say on here or to anyone really. Im the mom. You're the mom. Do what works for your baby. ^_^

My mom had the same issue with me when I was a baby. I've never liked being on my back. I guess we do our best with what works.

I know what you mean I let my son nap on the boppy. that's the only way he'll nap during the day. I'm always watching him making sure he's okay and he sleeps fine no issues
