Do all newborns fit in newborn size clothing? I don't know what size to get for my little boy because most newborn sizes…

Some clothes are up to one month which go to 10lb. I have a few up to one month but most of mine are 0 to 3 xx

Not all day.. maybe buy a few basic newborn vests and baby grows and then buy more once baby is here if they're needed. chances are even if your baby was 10lb newborn would fit even if for a week and would look better than 0-3 lol. my daughter is 11lb 9oz at the moment and she wears some newborn stuff still. but mostly 0-3

I'll just make sure to have a variety for when he's born haha

I don't have no new born cloths only 0-3 months and 3-6 months as I already know my baby is gonna be at least 7lb or just over

This is my first baby and I have no clue what to expect lol but my cousin gave me loads of small clothes incase he comes earlier, as her son did. But other then that most of my stuff is 0-3 but different shops do different fittings. Also some of my friends have said that even though a baby may be 10lb their length may mean clothes size difference not weight xx

My son was 8lb 5oz and wore first size for 3-4 weeks xx

@leanne2016, my boy was 7lb 9oz and he was in tiny baby clothes for a while x

I guess it's up to the individual my baby is born in the middle of summer end of June beginning of July and I don't want him to feel too hot and uncomfortable with fitted cloths on.... there's no harm in just putting 0-3 months cloths on a new born

I have tiny baby, first size, new born and 0-3 for my baby. being well prepared this time 😂. but usually 0-3 is pretty big on a new born @canteloupe24 xx

I have loads of 0-3 so I'm gonna go and purchase a few smaller sizes just in case :)

I was told by all my nurses and midwives to buy 0-3 months as they have loads of parents who go in with newborn clothing and can't use them as their babies are too big! they all said the legs may be a bit long but you can roll the sleeves up 😊 xx
