My dr prescribed me progesterone due to my last pregnancy ending in a miscarriage!! Anyone else ever…

Currently on Progesterone shot once a week and this is my 8th pregnancy with one living child who is 4 and without the shot I can't stay pregnant cause my levels are low.

And the progesterone you on now is it yellow and has to be done vaginal at night?

Wow really I went to my first visit and she started me on them before I got my results back I go back Friday for more info I am on the pills I wonder if the shot may work better @mommyofcohenjayceandmatthew

I take mine by mouth and yes they are hello little pills

I am on the shot once a week and I can honestly say it works... The only "side effect" I get from the shot is the itchiness at the injection site.

I wonder will my dr prescribe the shot next visit my levels seemed to be elevated this time but then again the lab results are hard to read

It depends on the levels when they come back but the pills are fine and it took forever for me to get the shots this time because of insurance playing around I was suppose to start the shots at 16weeks I didn't start until 19 weeks which is time sensitive

I don't know about levels or anything like that but I am on the shot because my first son was born at 25 weeks and 2 days with no real reason and I am now 25 weeks and 1 day with no signs of early labor. @babyfoster

i get the shot once a week also.

shot they cant start til you r at least 15weeks that is probably why they have u taking pills right now

I have the yellow pills. My nurse says they can be vaginally or orally. I just take mine orally every night. I used to take them in the mornings but I found that they made me very sleepy and dizzy so I do it at night before I go to sleep and have eaten.
