At most he will get steroids for lung development and maybe a few days or a week in NICU.

@twinmama_navywife, already received the steroid shots Friday and yesterday...been in the hospital since fridayxmorning

Hey you never know. He could come out healthy! Premature. But still healthy! It's the last little lung development I would have worried about but since he got it Friday you could get lucky! But possibly still a few days to be monitored.

why is he being born early? my son was born at 32 weeks due to preeclampsia, I also had to get steroids.

You should b fine I had my youngest at 35 weeks N he didn't have to stay any longer or anything. Good luck tomorrow hope everything works out

@mommy2b_again, I have severe preeclampsia so just about that time lol they gave me steroids before it got to bad thank goodness! Scared to death of labor but praying to God that everything will be fine!

@sharonpaige13, Ooooh my. Pre eclampsia is so scary, thankfully I haven't gotten it yet with this one. I am better prepared this time if I do tho. He should be just fine then at 36 weeks. Maybe no NICU time he won't need. Good luck to you and baby tho. My son was in NICU for only a month only bc he'd rather had that tube down his nose than suck on that bottle. Lol. I'm sure your baby will do just fine tho, and can go home with you.
