I still haven't got mine for Emma? I done all the paperwork, why do you need to go into the office? Maybe that's why I haven't got mine

@steph194, I haven't done it online Coz the Centrelink app is saying I need to upgrade my access? But did you send in your paperwork by post? Did you also send a copy of the birth certificate if you did?

I just used the express plus app and uploaded my newborn declaration via that. They've never asked for a birth certificate I just finally got on to a Medicare officer after 3 days of being Hung up on, and all my details are right and so is Emma's yet they haven't processed a card yet? So they're doing it now, it's so frustrating. 😡, meanwhile it's cost me $140 for two doctors trips for her because of not being on a Medicare card. Eugh.

@steph194 so annoying, yes I've paid for doctors too.. Just haven't gotten around to doing it, well I can't use the app Coz I have to upgrade my access apparently which means going into Centrelink so I'll just take all the bloody paperwork in tomorrow! I hate Australia's system for all these things! It's so stupid! You should be able to claim the receipts from the doctor once you have her card ?

Healthcare is pretty awful here, as if new mums didn't have enough to worry about, I can rebate them yeah, if Eli didn't rip them off the fridge and use them as a drawing pad 😒
