been having contractions all day but nothing I can sit down and time! they are not super painful but uncomfortable for sure, my stomach gets really tight and then I get this pressure down low for a second then it all loosens up again ....that's a contraction right?! I know this is my third baby and I should know but I didn't get to go into labor with my first two so I really don't know what everything feels like, I'm just scared of not going to hospital soon enough! any advice ladies ?! thanks in advance !

They tell me contractions every five minutes lasting a minute long for an hour.

511.. Call 911.. (Don't literally call 911 it just is a riddle to help your remember lol) contractions every 5 minutes.. Lasting 1 minute in length.. For 1 hour..

It sounds like it could be a contraction. But it could also just be a Braxton hick.. I didn't know I was having actual contractions until I was hooked up at an appointment and she was telling me I was having them. Everyone's body deals with them differently it seems.

Yes sounds like it!! Some contractions aren't painful! That's why some women don't know they are in labor! If the contraction is paired with pressure in your pelvic area it's a contraction!
