My mom and I aren't close but my mother in law and I are.. We sometimes don't get along but for the most part were close.. I was thinking about having her and hubby in the delivery room.. How did everyone feel with their mother inlaw in the delivery room? Was it awkward? Or did you enjoy having her there?

I think weather or not it's going to be awkward for you depends on your relationship with your MIL. The answer to this will vary between everyone but if you think it's going to be awkward then it probably will be.
Well I haven't gotten to the delivery room yet lol but my mil have been in the room with me in the beginning of my pregnancy. I was back n forth the first couple of weeks and I'm sure she's seen pretty much everything.😂
It wasn't awkward for me. I had my mother and my mother Inlaw she was crying the second he came out. I think birth is a beautiful thing though I would have had more people in the room had they let me(sister Inlaw, bestfriend, & grandma)
I had a whole party in my room. Our rules here are only 3 people but when the time came I ended up with my mom, dad, husband, 2 nurses, the midwife, an EMT student, and my MiL in there lol. Whole party was in there. When it came to it I didn't really care. Your hoo hoo does NOT look anything like it does when you're not in labor. Since my labor with my first was so awful I was strict on not having my MIL in there.... But mine went okay and I allowed her in. I really dislike my MIL however
