It sounds like an upper respiratory infection. Kittens get them pretty bad, I work at a 24 hour animal emergency hosp. We get them all the time.

@misslovalots, we took her in to a vet awhile back an she had a bad bacterial infection, not contagious but we don't have money to help her further an I feel so bad but Ik the shelter can help her an find her a home that can provide an give her the attention she needs

Has she been tested for FIV/FELV?

Do you have any local "lost and found" pets page on Facebook? Sometimes if you post in there. Someone is bound to be a rescue/foster home for animals

@hockeymama, well the shelter is a non kill an they will get her vet attention an get her better an than find her a home. I just can't take her in with everything going on. She was a barn cat an I tried to help her an I can't help her the way she needs

Don't feel too bad cuz at least you care enough to admit that she might be better cared for there! a lot of ppl would be too selfish to do the right thing.

@michellevaldez4750, yeah we tried to help her but she got better than it came back an I don't have it in my heart to just let her be taken some where else, an atleast if she goes to the shelter they can help her

yup, I worked in a no kill shelter, they'll help her :) they usually have vets that they work with and get cheaper care than you'd be able to get.
