don't let that happen girl@tt194210 if u want to buy ur son stuff then so be it!who cares what ppl say..my MIL and sister said the same thing to me all thru my pregnancy even about the baby shower..and guess who ended up preparing everything for baby shower and stressing last minute..yup me!Then MIL tells me she's buying her stroller and carseat not to worry..been three months saying that and now no word what so ever about it..just told my bf that she'd be here next weekend to take me shopping for her coming home outfit😏Such Bullshit I swear don't get me wrong I'm grateful and all but why even insist on me not buying anything cuz u are and then not do it?? ugh urks my damn nerves

girl that happened with my son. I had been put off work at 28weeks and couldn't afford to buy what he needed our families ended up buying everything and I felt like shit for it.

@tt194210, we have bought almost everything ourselves for our son it's hard not to buy it and I wanted to have everything early haven't had my babyshower yet but don't need much. If I was you I would continue purchasing everything yourself.

@tt194210, I know how that feels trust me. we had bought a trailer when I was 5 months and was remodeling it when I was put off work. we finished it 3 months after baby with our taxes. I ended up not having anything for baby bought by us just what was given. thankfully our families helped but it hurts because that's the times when you feel like okay this baby is real, I'm getting these things for my baby. we never had that, I didn't want to be told what I could get for baby. it hurts. my hubby says "we have time we have time" I'm like no we don't!

we have almost $800 in bills a month that's not including pullups, and household necessities.
