I think it's best to use breast milk bags because they're sterile, that's what I've read anyways

from my experience they end up costing you more than storage bags because they are constantly cracking and pouring them into a bottle is like baptizing a cat. Plus you really do not want to heat the plastic even if its just in warm water.
