If your 39 weeks dialated to 3 and having contractions do hospitals send you back home because they don't have the room available? Not me but a friend

If the water is not broken and the contractions are consistent usually at 3minites apart, they may send her home.

could be either. unfortunately, labor and delivery is a money industry. they want to be able to turn over beds quickly which is partly the reason doctors are always trying to speed things up. Has she tried going in yet?

It depends on the hospital I was only 4cm dilated and my water never broke but they still took me. The second time my water broke so I went in I don't think I was even dilated much can maybe a 4 or so.

Yes she went in and they sent her home @showersoverflowers. Did they keep you the second time @daniellecaprara11

Yes they did! I think the only reason was because I have group b strep it's just a bacteria some moms get during pregnancy that I have to be put on antibiotics for. I have it again this pregnancy so I'll have to see what happens.
