has anyone on here thought about getting your tubes tied after your first child?
I'm 21 years old and this is my first baby, we planned it and have you ever felt like if it wasn't for that significant other person that changed your whole vision of life, you would have never thought about being a mom? I never wanted kids . in fact he's my first bf because I was scared of dating guys and getting pregnant. I just know that baby's more than one wasn't what God had destined for me. but I feel more than complete with this new blessing. i only want her

you can talk to your doctor about it but the chances about them actually doing it are very very slim. like next to none unless there's a serious health risk . my fiance was going to get snipped but he's 22 will be 23 in November and they won't let him.do it because of how young he is even though he has more then one child they still wouldn't do it . same with my sister she is 20 doesn't want kids at all and they won't because of how young she is . she could change her mind .

I'm 34 and feel the same always wanted one and I inquired and 2 or 3 ob's said no because of the potential risk of me possibly wanting more. But I'm getting to that cut off point. You on the other hand wait til u have your child and see how u feel and any situation can change.

I will never get my tubes tied. I had the children, he can get a vasectomy.

I am almost 24 and I feel same but I just want two I know what my mum had to go through with 4 kids after my father died not that am praying for any thing like that but I want the number of children I can care for if God forbid something happens

@cgaona, your so young life changes you never know what God has planned only he knows. I'm going to be 32 when I have my first this is absolutely what I wanted. people have babies when they are 40 now days you still have your entire life ahead it's so soon to make such a life changing decision. A friend of mine is 46 got preg at 18 had a hard life had her tubes tied early then met the most wonderful man with no children and they have been married for 20 years and wanted babies so bad.
