So if your dog was running loose since January 29th... Wouldn't you make every effort to get him…

most cities/towns have leash laws I do believe (I had to look into ours due to an annoying neighbor, but we are outside city limits so we are good lol) i would look into them in your area, and if she still makes no attempt you can call animal control

that does sound rather harsh I know, but once she is forced to pay a fine for having an animal at large (I think that's what it's called) perhaps she will keep her dog tied up or put a fence of some sort up

@sarahdrew, we have a leash law here too. Several people have called animal control but no one is doing anything! She keeps telling everyone not to try and catch him... Wouldn't you want someone to catch him of you wanted your dog back?? I'm so mad at her! I'll keep him if he comes close enough. German Shepards are my favorite!

I would definitely want my dog back, and would welcome any help that was offered to catch him.. I would probably do the same as you and keep him if he gets close enough... some people, smh

she doesn't deserve the damn dog. if you catch him call animal control and ask how long you have to look for his owner before you can rehome even though youth already know who the owner is. if she doesn't take him back then keep him or rehome him lol
