How long did y'all wait after your first baby to have another one? My husband and I agreed on 5 years after little Henry…

my first two are 3 almost 4yrs apart, and I got pregnant 7 months after having my first so they'll be about 15-16months apart.

not really, it just happened.

I have mirena, so I'll have to get it taken out before we start trying.. But I know it won't take long at all for us to conceive. Just don't know if I can wait five whole years!!! @kelseys

@henrysmommy, definitely not. lol 2 is enough for me (God willing). I can't have more babies than hands.

my children are 2 years and 10 days apart, we wanted 2 years... when I found out I was pregnant I told my doctor "as long as it's not another September birthday I'm good" lol (we already have I believe 8 birthdays in September between our families including our son and my husband) luckily due date was October 14 so c-section could only be scheduled the 7 at the earliest lol... we planned pretty well actually.... I personally think 2 years is perfect

I only have one but we plan to start trying again when she's 9-12 months. I wish we were younger and could wait a few years but we decided at our age and with my fertility issues we shouldn't wait long

I had the Mirena. I had it taken out in May2013 and got pregnant August 2014.

How long does it take to be able to conceive after it's taken out @kelseys?

everyone is different. I only had the IUD in for six months before getting it taken out. so it took me a little over a year to get pregnant.

Did they say you could start trying right away @kelseys?

my OB didn't tell me anything but that there's the risk of getting pregnant. I wasn't actually trying, but my husband and I weren't stopping it either.

well birth control is to prevent pregnancy, so if I was to stop it, I could possibly get pregnant.
