We got in an argument and for once I actually think I was the one out of line. 😩

He gets so irrationally angry over small stuff, and he ends up snapping at me and yelling at me when it really has nothing to do with me at all. He even does it to the dog. Over stupid shit! He got frustrated while sweeping the floor today. It's so stupid.

Anyway he ended up yelling at me because my dumb ass made a comment when I knew he was already angry and it just made it worse and when he finally calmed down I expressed that I was upset. Without thinking I just kinda blurted out "You take everything out on me, are you gonna take everything out on our daughter, too?" And...😪😪😪 I feel awful now. Was that out of line?

In my defense, it is something I'm genuinely concerned about. My dad was the same way and he was always taking his anger out on my brother and I and it completely destroyed my relationship with my dad up until I moved out. I don't want the same thing to happen to them but I felt like I shouldn't have said it...I'm so horrible.
