I really don't understand why my grandparents keep trying to push my boyfriend and I to get married. Like i get it, you guys got married 2 months into dating and now that me & Tristin are having a baby together it would be the "right" thing to do. but we have it planned how we want it. We both want to be 21 before getting engaged and we want to save for our dream wedding. I really don't understand why i even have to explain myself. Im only 20 and he's 19. I don't want him to feel obligated to marry me just because we are having a child together.

I mean we have our own place and everything together already so i see kind of where they are coming from but in that same note we really want to have our dream wedding which would involve some travel so i would like to wait 5 or 6 years. @1sttimemummy

Completely understandable!! There's no point in rushing it and it's SOOO much easier when you've had time to save haha

They're just old school. My SO's parents are traditional Christian (not the bad kind lol) and ask every blue moon our plans on marriage. They don't press it though. And they don't want us to rush. Sometimes we want to get married sometimes we don't lol and just want to be together
