Please help 😣

If you guys went to your doctor for help because of not ovulating and not getting a period and she gave you advice and told you what to do and set up a return appt to talk about how it well it worked but after leaving you just decided you didn't feel comfortable with doing it the way she said would you do it anyways because she's a doctor and she should know what works or would you listen to your gut and not do it skip the return appt and just continue how you are and see if something else changes? I am really stressed about what she said and I don't feel confident in it and I really don't know what to do cause I'm usually just go with the flow and do what the doctor says cause I feel like they know more then I do about the body and the way stuff works it self out.... 😢

I got testing done which showed my hormone levels are off which is causing me to not ovulate which means no period. she said the only way to get my periods on track and ovulate regularly would to go on bc pills... I asked her well aren't the pills suppose to keep you from ovulating cause she knows were ttc and she basically said well you have no chance of getting pregnant right now anyways so bc pills aren't gonna hurt you anymore then not having a period... even though I told her I was on bc pills for 3 years and that's what messed my hormones up. . not really sure how going back on them would help and she said it'll cause me to have a period which will make my body regulate the hormones and once I'm off it should help my body have periods on its own... but I don't believe that will happen since when I was on them for 3 years yes I had a period but it's not a real period it's a period caused by the pills and now I've been off them for almost 9 months and no regular periods because my hormones are all fucked up from the bc pills. @mrsschmalz

@mrsschmalz, I think I'm just scared because it messed me up so bad that I don't wanna waste my time if it doesn't work but also believe my doc when she says how can it hurt my body even more when my body isn't working at all anyways.. why not try it. just needed a second opinion cause when I Google everything just says never go on bc if your ttc but to hear from a actual person who is ttc that it could hurt to try makes me feel a little better. thanks so much for replying really makes me feel okay with trying it out. ☺ I love having a community that is so open to helping others who need advice! so glad I was referred to this app!

Honestly I would tryst your gut. Even though they are medically trained, they don't always know what's best for you. It may help to get a second medical opinion.
