So me and my sister are throwing me a babyshower, so a family member found out and "wanted to help" to build up her portfolio but she wants me to buy all the stuff that she wants to do like the sweets and decoration stuff and she want to put it up and put things together and put the pics in her portfolio and get credit off of it..... So my problem is if you want to help and build up YOUR portfolio you should buy the stuff .... Please let me know if im right or wrong!

Generally, party planners and decorators don't pay for the items. You give them a budget and they buy what fits into that. If she's wanting pricey items then she can pay for those.

no she offered to help but if she wants to do something for YOUR baby shower thats fine but it shouldnt come out your pockect. @jjjmommie421 and @phinnybinz i get where your coming from but the girl wanted to "help" she brought the idea up i dont think its fare of her to ask @jjjmommie421 to buy them items

Oh, no then!! I don't know that I'd even be letting her help at this point. I thought she was doing stuff that would actually flow with what you wanted.
