Witch hazel, if you are uncomfortabe with the rubbing, you can put the diaper rash cream (a&d) just like you would for a baby

they have preparation h wipes maybe fold one of those and put it on the area and wear a pad

sounds awful but some times u can even apply pressure and they will go bk in.

I soaked in a hot bath and used Tucks Pads to wipe it afterwards. My midwife recommended to wipe the area after every bowl movement (and I have been) and haven't had one since then! Good luck!!
