ihave a question... is it hard when you don't introduce a pacifier to your child at all ?

I don't think it is I wouldn't have if my son wouldn't chew on his fingers! But decided to bc it's easier to get him of a pacifier than is thumbs... That's just my opinion tho lol

My mom raised me without one and has helped me realize that may be the route Ii want to take.

I never had one but we used one for our girls since they were premature. It's not true that they will mess up your teeth, pacifiers now (ex: Avent brand) are specifically designed to not hinder teeth growth. Also, most babies ween themselves off of it on their own. A lot of toddlers that are still using it is because they were reintroduced to it at that older age and THATS when it's hard to get them off. My girls were completed uninterested by the time they were 4 months

It seems like it is when they are fussy and not hungry and just want something to suck on. My first son I used one and it was hard to get him off he was like 3 when he stopped using it. My second we didn't give it to him and it was a little rough to keep him satisfied but it was worth it because we didn't have to worry about making him stop the binky.

To me it depends on the baby

my daughter used one and it was easy for me to get her off of it. In fact she got off of it herself lol I was shocked. But I have heard mothers say its hell trying to get them off. So I mean it depends in my opinion.

Now my daughter's blankie is ANOTHER story lol
