I've been losing my mucus plug since 24 weeks. It doesn't worry me at all since there's no bloody show with it. Like @littlepeanut91 said.

My OB said it didn't matter much as it grows back. I've been losing mine for weeks, so I know it's growing back. Now, if you have your bloody show, that's a better sign :)

losing your mucus plug is a sign that labor is coming it doesn't mean anything really but it is a sign

I'm 3 cm dialated and 60 percent effaced and my ob said any day now so losing a lot of my mucus plug after having some spotting does mean something to me

Agreed ^^ @andiryan93 I lost mine and still was induced. But everyone's different..

Losing your mucus plug doesn't really mean anything to be honest. I don't know why people keep saying it makes a difference.
