If they aren't five minutes apart lasting one minute for an hour I wouldn't worry. If your water broke that's different.

Have you called labor and delivery and explained to them what you're feeling? You could at least try that and see what they say.

are your pains timeable? coming and going? If not they probably aren't contractions. Otherwise, if ever you are concerned about pain you need to call your doctor. Online we can give advice but we cannot diagnose a possible problem with 100% confidence

I called my nurse yesterday and she just told me to go to an orthopedic doctor. which I don't see how that would help. @darianweaver

It could be contractions, but early labor can last for several weeks, so unless they get closer together, like 4 or more in an hour, they aren't anything to worry about on their own.

Call the hospital and ask for L&D they will care if your Dr office doesn't @mrsdoyle
