@jessmarlene26, it doesn't have to be mucus looking. The spotting could just be caused from you dilating or your cervix could just be bugged. If it's a lot of blood, then that calls for worry. But not usually the spotting unless it gets worse. But you might want to call your OB either way just to let them know so they can check you 🙂
