Currently in the US it's only transmitted through sex and if you've traveled to infected countries. Mosquitos don't have it here, as of now

The CDC is keeping track of Zika cases now. I'd check their website and see what they say. From what I read today, there are only 287 cases of women testing positive for Zola and only a few with birth defects

It's just crazy bc I live in the woods they r really thick here nothing stops them from getting us

@deafmama16, I read an article a few months ago about a study being conducted by an outside lab saying that Monsanto is the cause of the microcephaly, not Zika. The areas with the most cases are right next to Monsanto factories and live with the run off on a daily basis.

I'm just gonna buy bug spray and pray I don't have it already

There are no infected mosquitos in Florida or the US but there are women in the US that have Zika from traveling to other countries. http://www.floridahealth.gov/diseases-and-conditions/zika-virus/.

I work in a doctor's office inside a hospital. If it was infecting mosquitos here, notice would've been passed through the hospitals already

@lovingmydaughter, that's the Florida government website. There are a lot of people in Florida that travel to South America that's why you hear of many cases of people infected. As of right now unless you've recently been to a country with the mosquitos or you are sleeping with a man that has traveled you don't have to worry.

@lovingmydaughter, I live in Miami Florida with a bunch of people traveling around from all over the place it came from south America and the Caribbean just where repellent my doc said she don't believe it can be Trans through sec unless the person is like super infected however if a person has it a mis. bites them then bites you that is a way of getting it.... I use repellent with deet in it my doc okay for me to use that is my new perfume
