with this being my second baby and I'm working on graduating right now I really want to get on a birth control but after looking at all of them none of the risks seem worth it. too many side affects. idk how to feel about it.

I was on 3 different birth controls at different times and all 3 make me have absolutely no sex drive and i was always pissed at everyone. But a month after i stopped everything was rainbows and glitter. i feel ya

It sucks that the birth control burden gets placed on us women. I was on the mirena iud for 4 years with little side effects. Never had a problem but I know everyone is different.

17 years old ? at that point birth control was the only option for me. like what side effects low sex drive? at 17 you can figure that out

Just gotta weigh the benefits and risks of each. I got the paraguard IUD after I had my twins and even though my periods were hell with it, it was much better than getting pregnant again. The pill isn't so bad either, it leveled out my moods and made periods a lot easier and I lost some weight from it
