I am starting to feel really conflicted. I am of course for sure taking the 8 weeks off due to c section but I can't decide if I should take/can afford to take off the additional 6 weeks bonding time. I have been off work since January 15th due to bed rest and complications during the pregnancy so money has been really tight so financially it would help so much to go back in July. My mom can watch the baby from July through mid August before the babysitter will take over so at least it makes me feel comfortable but Idk what to do )): also if I take the other 6 weeks off then I have to pay for my medical at work which is almost 500 a month so Idk if it even financially makes sense to stay home besides the more time to stay home with Aidan. opinions?!?

If you can afford it and not be stressed from the lack of income, bonding with your baby is always worth it ❤️❤️❤️

I know it kills me because I already had to just pay 500 for the insurance during this 8 weeks because I have been on leave for 15 weeks which is all my work legally has to pay for while I'm on disability. @39surp I have to decide by June 15th if I'm coming back July since schedule done a month at a time so I will have to really think about it //,:

wow $500! thats expensive..who is your insurance through? you would think because you have a child that they would cut you a break smh
