It all happened yesterday at 1 am when I turned over in bed I felt a little popping sensation so when I got up a couple minutes later to go to the bathroom I saw mucus and water trickled down my leg I immediately woke up my husband we got ready to go to the ER went up to labor and delivery got checked and indeed my bag had ruptured so they immediately sent me by ambulance to another hospital 45 minutes away were there is a NICU center for baby, they did stop my contractions I was 1cm dilated when they checked me at the other hospital and we were all hoping baby would stay in longer for another week or two I got steroid shots just in case baby did decide to come early, but as the time went by my contractions started coming and getting stronger and stronger so by 3pm I called the nurse to check to see if I was dilated cause I couldn't take the pain anymore and it's had been an hour and a half since the nurse checked on me and I knew I was going to have a baby soon I never got checked when I got to this other hospital since I was leaking fluid they didn't want to risk giving me an infection and the only time they would check me if my contractions were close apart so anyway they checked me and I was already at 7cm I couldn't believe it I don't know how I did it and took all that pain without knowing I was about to deliver i refused the epidural of course the nurses were all surprised on how well I took the pain that long but anyway i pushed baby out in three pushes this was one of my fastest and easiest delivery I had it did hurt but not so bad but I'm also just so sad he came early we were hoping he would of stayed in longer but he had other plans he was ready to come into this world. We love him so much and we can't wait to take him home but for now he's doing great in the NICU. So it's just the waiting game it's all in gods hands now were praying extra hard for him and hopefully he'll be home soon with us. 😊
