so my baby girl has not pooped in almost a week should I be worried? she is strictly breast fed. she has been peeing a lot I think I change a wet diaper about 10x a day. she sees Dr on Mon day for her 2 month check up. help?

Babies normally can go up to a week without pooping. Has she been acting gassy or in pain from the constipation. Since you're breastfeeding it could be something in your diet causing the constipation. Most of the time dairy causes this. Try cutting out dairy for 3-5 days and see if she shows any sign of change. You can also try giving her a suppository, they usually poop right when you give them one. Depending on how old she is you can give her just a bit of pear or apple juice. Talk to your doctor about it on Monday for sure though.

It's normal for breastfed babies not to poop up to 10 days! If she's fussy/gassy I would try bending her legs toward her chest and then gas drops! I'm experiencing same thing now, gave her gas drops last night and she slept longest she's ever slept!!
