Moms, we are in an age where people are so creepy and horrible that we have to protect our babies even more, we teach them about talking to strangers, and getting in someone's car, always ask for a badge from a cop. But we don't tell them about a darker topic... Sexual assault, now obviously keep it age appropriate but kids have to know someone can't touch their private parts and they shouldn't touch someone else's. I watch a YouTube video of a woman who was sexually assaulted at 6 and thought she was going to get in trouble because it was wrong, she didn't know that it wasn't her fault, she was scared to tell her parents.. The whole point is we have to prepare them for situations we pray they never get in but if they do they know how to deal with it... Rant over!
