Having a huge need to vent about my ob. She was amazing and supportive during my first pregnancy, that sadly ended in a miscarriage but this time around I feel like she doesn't care at all about me as a patient. I have to get weekly blood tests to check my hormone levels and three weeks in a row I've called her office for the results. I feel incredibly irritated with the whole situation and kind of want to change doctors. I just don't know if that's smart to do considering my history. My husbands response is to do what makes me happy and that just isn't helpful. (He's trying but just doesn't get it (: ) what do you all think? I'm sorry that I got rambly but I don't know what to do.

Don't take this the wrong way but could it be your nerves? Because you are stressed about the previous miscarriage? and constant blood work? I'm asking because I was that person. and I needed to chill out, once I did, everything was OK. @mccormick91

@mommyof3andahalf, I know I am a bit worried about it all but when a doctor says they will call you before 2 the same day and you don't hear from them for two days and when you call them the nurse says the doctor hasn't even opened your folder yet, it makes me a bit upset.

could it be the nurses, or definitely the doctor? @mccormick91 I totally get it tho. just trying to help, it's really hard to find a good OB.And if you were once happy with her...hopefully this is just a misunderstanding or a fluke??

@mccormick91, the nurses could easily be passing blame to the doc. but the doc could be lazy. who knows. do what you feel is right tho, if you don't feel comfortable, ask around and find one that fits you better :)

when it comes to choosing a care provider never settle, whoever you pick plays a huge role in how your birth will go. if you feel doubts and cannot trust this person with your and the baby's life it is never too late to find someone else. who you choose should have you feeling like they care otherwise what's the point
