Ok so.. My son finishes school in June I believe the 22nd or 23rd but I'll be moving out of Philadelphia to our OWN PLACE the first week of June.. (Currently live with my mom)
I'm not sure if I'd get in trouble for taking him out of school 2 weeks before he gets out.. But I honestly cannot stay at my moms much longer...
Could I get in trouble for taking him out? (He's in the Philadelphia school district) There would be absolutely no point in putting him in a new school for just 2 weeks.. (We are moving an hour away from here). I'm stuck on what to do about this.

I would ask the school just tell them you have to move ASAP

Every school district is different so your best bet is to speak with the school and let them know your situation they'll know better than anyone

@wafiyahd, yeah I definitely have to tell them ASAP. I just don't know if id get in trouble for keeping him out of school for two weeks because we have to move.. I'm hoping I won't

Contact the school on Monday and tell them what is going on. They may be able to give him a little extra work now for the time he will miss. So he will still get everything they require. Side note: I'm not sure how much they actually do the last two weeks of school anyway. Lol

@starienite, lol I actually spoke to the principal today when I went to pick him up and she said that just to make sure I write a letter so they can have on file and that for me to make sure I get work that he can do in the meantime as well.. Thanks hon! So true lol I'm sure they don't do much for 2 weeks 😂😂😂
