Anyone else has a child who has a appetite of a grown person? My child never seems to be filled and…

oh yeah! but my child is disabled and she has a sensory issue. she never feels full I've always had to stop her! once she was 1 1/2 and I took a shower thinking she was guna nap for a while.. well she got up and ate a while package of 30 hotdogs herself! I couldn't believe it! she's 11 now but always sneaking food and eating crazy! I feel so bad for her! thank God she has a high metabolism lol!

But also wana tell you kids will go through sperts where they're hungry as he'll then eat nothing totally normal!

@mygiftof2016, gotta put a lock on that fridge lol. She's 1 1/2 now and wants to eat all damn day. She literally has her own cupboard of food for her self. I'm just overwhelmed at times cause it's like dang child your too small to be eating this much

Sounds like she's going through a growth spurt.

My son is 9 now but not only was he always eating a lot he never went through a picky phase. He ate EVERYTHING and a lot of everything.

Yes! my son is almost 13! ALWAYS has had a BIG appetite! Always ate more then other kids... I see the same pattern with my daughter, she's 7 months last night she ate more macaroni and meatballs then her 3 year old brother would ever eat!

@mygiftof2016, I haven't had a day she hasn't wanted to eat yet. Since she's been on solids she's been a beast. Even when she's sick she still wants to eat I just don't know what to do. My mother said its cause she's always moving around which does make sense

@momof3and1ontheway, she's 18 months and has been like this since 8 months. She's preemie and grows really slow so I figured her body is just trying to catch up

right! kids can flippin eat! I have a bowl of fruits on my table the kids can help themselves anytime and can't have enough of them so there's always a variety and it's always there for them. that helps a bit. I also have a cupboard designed for the kids lol and the lower part of my fridge theyre allowed to get into for green beans apple sauce carrots n dressing cherry tomatoes and I cut up these things also and out then I'm Tupperware for them. that's also a help.

Picky sucks. My daughter is 5 and wants nothing to do with food. She's had a chicken nugget phase, pancake phase, and mac and cheese phase. She wont tey anything new either

@mygiftof2016, well since she's been eating so much I do buy lots of fruits and veggies and she loves them she eats them none stop so at least it's health stuff

yeah that's why i do it the way I do. if i find they're wasting though I make them split because I have big issues with throwing away food in my home. other than that go ahead and try that maybe it'll help u too
